The DOs and DON'Ts of WWCrafters.com
We, the Admins of WWCrafters.com have created these rules for our Marketplace and our community, with the aim of creating an online atmosphere where crafters feel safe and comfortable listing their treasures and buyers feel confident purchasing. Please read these rules with the utmost care.
WWCrafters.com Fees
Fees are listed accordingly and can change at any time without prior written notice. This fee schedule is in US Dollars and is located at this Link.
General Site Usage
WWCrafters.com is an online Marketplace for buying and selling handmade goods. WWCrafters.com is also a worldwide community of wonderfully talented and unique individuals; while you're with us, you are part of this community.
Do's
- Do be respectful, kind and courteous to others.
- Do follow the rules outlined both here and in the Terms and Conditions.
- Do keep in mind that people of all ages, races, religion and talent ability view WWCrafters.com and conduct business here.
- Do use WWCrafters.com to share your talent, excitement and passion for your craft.
Dont's
- Don't break the rules as listed here and in the Terms and Conditions.
- Dont' be disrespctful towards any staff or member of WWCrafters.com
- Don't expect WWCrafters.com's Admins to be perfect. (We're crafters, parents and people just like you and sometimes we make mistakes, too, and will correct them as soon as we can.)
Members of the WWCrafters.com community are here for many reasons: running a business, shopping for unique handmade gifts, displaying their talent or perhaps just sharing the love AND addiction to crafting. Whatever the reason, the main goal is harmony, happiness and success for all involved.
Member Accounts
Do's
Everyone who uses WWCrafters.com must agree to and abide by the Terms and Conditions as well as these Dos & DON'Ts.
- Do carefully select your username (including capitalizations etc); it cannot be changed later.
- Do carefully select your email address when registering since your account activation will be sent to that email so be sure you are using a valid and active email account.
- Do reply to the registration confirmation email to secure your username and setup your account which includes adding your banner, shop policies and small avatar.
Dont's
- Don't use an alternate account to purchase items from yourself to artificially inflate your sales; this is called "shilling" and will not be tolerated.
- Don't let a seller account sit idle for longer than 3 months; it will be suspended pending your request to admin@WWCrafters.comto have it reactivated. (activity refers to listing items for sale)
- Don't create an alternate account to harass members or engage in otherwise abusive behavior. This is called a "sock puppet" account and will not be tolerated.
Multiple Accounts by One Person
If you have multiple accounts, you must follow these rules:
Do's
- Do keep in mind that separate accounts cannot be merged in any way.
- Do be up front and fully disclose if you hold multiple accounts by posting all of your usernames in each account's store.
- Do recognize that if one of your accounts is reviewed for abuse, it may result in all of your accounts being terminated.
Dont's
- Don't buy items from yourself or sell items to yourself (no shilling).
- Don't expect refunds for accidental activity, like listing items in the wrong account.
Selling
WWCrafters.com provides a marketplace for crafters, artists and artisans to sell their handmade creations. All sellers must meet the requirements outlined in the Terms and Conditions in order to have a shop.
Do's
- Do Activate your account. If you account is not activated within 14 days it will be terminated.
- Do sell your wonderful handmade items ONLY
- Do abide by the rules of What Can be Sold on WWCrafters.com (see below.)
- Do list your personal shop policies regarding shipping, returns, accepted payment methods and custom orders in your item listings, and in your store.
- Do write clear, accurate and detailed descriptions of your items and the transaction terms.
- Do list your item in the appropriate category. WWCrafters.com is not responsible by lost sales due to misplacing your listing.
- Do conduct your business in a professional manner and do your best to provide excellent customer service.
- Do communicate with your buyers via Messages or email to resolve any issues regarding a transaction.
- Do ship your orders in a timely fashion, failure to do so may result in negative feedback.
- Do leave feedback for your buyers after a transaction is complete.
- Do keep an active presence on WWCrafters.com by logging in to your account regularly; adding new inventory. An idle seller account will be suspended after 3 months of no activity (activity refers to listing items for sale).
Don'ts
- Don't list an item that you do not intend to, or cannot, sell.
- Don't have a third-party vendor (such as a printer) fulfill your orders. The whole basis for WWCrafters.com is to offer Handmade items only.
- Don't create a listing that is not an item for sale; "Sold/Not For Sale" listings are not allowed. Instead place a "Reserved or Custom for (username)" listing.
- Don't misrepresent your items with false descriptions, prices or photographs.
- Don't use photographs or written text in your listings for which you do not own the copyright or have the copyright holder's permission to use.
- Don't place links to other websites, shops, craftmalls, retail online stores or any other internet venue in your Item Listings, Your Store Front, Your About Page or in the WWCrafters.com forum. Any and all such links will be removed by admin immediately.
A seller who fails to fulfill orders, resulting in a low percentage feedback rating, will have their account suspended pending compliance. Extreme cases or repeat offenders will have their account(s) terminated. Any seller who violates the Terms and Conditions will have their account terminated.
Buying
WWCrafters.com is an online venue, not a retailer. This means when you place an order on WWCrafters.com, you are entering into a direct and personal relationship with an individual seller (facilitated by WWCrafters.com).
Do's
- Do buy things you love! There is a multitude of talent here from around the world!
- Do contact the seller via ASK SELLER QUESTION FEATURE if you have any questions prior to purchase.
- Do read all information in the item listing, shop announcement and seller store before purchasing to be sure you know that seller's individual posted policies.
